What We Offer

For anglers sixteen years of age and over, we offer guided fly fishing tours of the Blackstone and Bighorn rivers for wild Cutthroat and Bull trout, as well as ATV access to remote fishing locations. For those long Alberta winters we are also happy to bring you full or half day ice fishing excursions for anglers of all ages. To offer our clients the most enjoyable experience and highest catch numbers  possible, we specialize in groups from one to three people, though larger groups are welcome and encouraged to inquire about group tours. With half day, full day, or overnight trips, Colt Creek Outfitters is perfect for all skill levels.

Never been fly fishing before? Interested in learning the basic technique? We would be glad to show you before setting out on the water. We offer clinics on casting and line correction, as well as a selection of hand tied flies available for purchase.

    Whats Included

Every trip will be lead by a guide with personal knowledge and experience of the terrain covered. All guides are certified in first aid and pack in all equipment needed, so you can enjoy your day on the water. On site cooked meals will be provided along with snacks and beverages(specify food allergies when booking). All rods, reels, hand tied flies, flotant, etc. are also included. All you require to make the most of your trip is a camera, sunglasses(preferably polarized) and your love for fishing and the outdoors.
